I'm not that picky about sidewalk pavement, but this situation (see photo) near the driveway to the shoe warehouse north of Maple is pretty bad. I recently tripped on this but was lucky enough to recover my balance before an otherwise uncomfortable pavement nap.

Someone knows this is a problem because they put this poor lonely traffic cone on top of the ridge. At some point the cone got beat up and shoved off to the side. Now it's neglected in much the same way the sidewalk pavement is.

The traffic cone shows that the city acknowledges that the bump is hazardous so this situation is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  But what are city funds for if not for paying lawsuits.

I'd like a solution other than "We have added more traffic cones".

Donated $50 to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Tripping hazard on Sepulveda Blvd sidewalk???  That's outrageous.  Such an easy thing to fix.  I'm in for this task.

Donated $15 and will be donating $15 upon task completion to Goodwill Industries.
Walking by this every day makes me sad. Please just fix it.

Donated $20 to El Segundo Education Foundation.
So far, my expert dexterity has to-date avoided a shameful tumble. But this is just ridiculous. Come on, El Segundo. How hard is it to fix this sidewalk? Another $20 to El Segundo Ed to show how much you need to fix this.

Will donate $20 upon task completion to Torrance Memorial MC.
I see this problem and the absolutely silly traffic cone every day, multiple times a day. So I am putting another $20 in to a local hospital if this gets fixed.
